The bronze giant Talos guards Crete, hurling stones until Medea calls upon the spirits of death to strike his only vein. His golden ichor spills, and he falls into the sea. We sail on through a black night so deep it feels like death itself until Apollo’s light breaks the horizon. The gods have carried us home, but not all journeys end in peace.
