(CHAPTER PROLOGUE) #5: Helen daughter of Zeus
Zeus, desiring Queen Leda of Sparta, lies with her in the form of a swan, and that same night she also lies with King Tyndareus, conceiving two sets of twins. From this union are born Castor and Pollux, bound in brotherhood beyond death, and Clytemnestra and Helen, the latter emerging from a golden egg, her beauty destined to bring about the fall of Troy. As Helen grows, she is seized and reclaimed, while the exiled princes Agamemnon and Menelaus rise to power through Tyndareus, binding their houses in marriage and planting the seeds of future vengeance.
Every hero needs allies.
