15: HESPERIDES’ APPLES (Labor 11)
At the edge of the world, I seek the golden apples guarded by Ladon and the Hesperides. Atlas agrees to fetch them if I bear the weight of the heavens in his place. The burden nearly crushes me, but when he returns, I trick him into resuming it and flee with the fruit. Cleverness, not strength, delivers me my prize.
