6: FACING THE MINOTAUR

The stench of death thickens as I approach the center of the maze. There, the beast waits, half man and half bull, feeding on bones of the innocent. We clash in the darkness until my strength overcomes its fury, and I slay it in silence. Retracing Ariadne’s thread, I escape to the dawn, carrying the light of deliverance back to my people.
