9: ANDROMEDA AND THE SERPENT
Flying over distant shores, I see Andromeda chained to a rock, offered as sacrifice to Poseidon’s sea monster. Her mother’s pride has brought ruin upon the land, but I cannot let her die for another’s sin. As the serpent rises, I lift the Gorgon’s head and turn the beast to stone, its fall shaking the sea. In that moment of salvation, love binds us.
