6: A STIRRINGPER FORMANCE

At last I stand before the thrones of Hades and Persephone, pleading for what was once mine. I pour my soul into song, and all of the Underworld falls silent. Even the Furies lower their lashes, moved by the sound of grief and devotion. Persephone weeps as Hades grants my wish, allowing Eurydice to follow me back to the light, on one condition: I must not look back.
